Customer Reviews
Got a great deal on bundle
I was looking for some new true crime games and found Cold Case Inc. I decided to try one of their unsolved case file bundles because it offered the best value. I ended up getting three cases for a really good price, saving a decent amount compared to buying them individually. The shipping was free too, which was a nice bonus. The quality of the cases themselves was great, and I felt like I definitely got my money's worth. It was a smart purchase for someone on a budget like me.
Great fun, minor delivery issue
I bought the Ashes of Holloway Bay case file and had a pretty good experience overall. Ordering was straightforward on the website, very easy to navigate. It took about 6 days for the physical file to reach me in California, which was a bit longer than I expected, but not a huge deal. The quality of the evidence included in the file was really impressive; everything felt authentic, from the police reports to the photos. The puzzles were well-designed and kept me engaged for hours. I did get stuck on one part and used the hint system, which was helpful without giving away too much. Customer support wasn't needed, thankfully. It was a really fun way to spend an evening.
Fun detective game, slow digital access
I purchased the Billy Cross case file and generally had a positive time playing it. The physical materials were well-produced and looked very professional. The game itself was quite enjoyable; the story was compelling, and the puzzles made me think. However, after completing the physical game, accessing the digital wrap-up content was a bit clunky. It took a while for the link to appear in my account, and the interface for it wasn't as smooth as the rest of the experience. It didn't ruin the game, but it could definitely be improved for a more seamless transition from physical to digital elements. Still, for the price, it was good entertainment.
Loved The Waters Edge case!
I just finished The Waters Edge case file and it was SO good! The puzzles were challenging but fair, and the story was really engaging. I spent hours on it. I'm already planning my next purchase, probably a bundle this time. Seriously, if you like true crime games, you HAVE to try these. I'm going to tell all my friends about it!

Hey, I'm thinking about getting one of these case files for a game night. Are they mostly digital stuff or do you get actual physical evidence to look through?
What's the deal with their 'free shipping on bundles' thing? Does that apply to all bundles or just specific ones?
So, how long does it usually take for these case files to arrive? I'm in New York and wanna make sure it gets here before my birthday next month.
Is this like, legit? I've seen some other true crime games that feel really flimsy. Does it feel like you're actually investigating something real?
Thinking of trying one of these or maybe a Hunt A Killer box. How do they compare if anyone's played both?
